SUBJECT:
CONFIRMATION OF CHANGE TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUS(UEHANNA STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNIT 2 (TAC NO. 77900)
This confirms our telephone authorization given on October 30, 1990, for a change to the Technical Specifications for Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Unit 2, as requested in your letter, dated October 30, 1990.
Facility Operating License No. NPF-22 is amended as requested in your letter dated October 30, 1990.
The Technical Specification change permits relief from the provisions of action "a" of Technical Specification Section 3.6.3 related to the reactor water cleanup system isolation valve.
The relief will be effective from October 30, 1990 through the next refueling outage, scheduled for March 1991, or earlier if an outage of sufficient duration to revise the setting occurs.
The corrected Technical Specification page is enclosed.
The formal license amendment and our completed safety evaluation of this change to the Technical Specifications for Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Unit 2 is being processed and copies of these documents will be sent to you in the near future.
