NRC REGION I UTILITY SYMPOSIUM/WORKSHOP ON ENGINEERING'S ROLE IN PLANT SUPPORT This is an invitation to you and other members of your staff to attend and participate in a Region I symposium/workshop to be held at the Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania on February 20, 1991 from noon to 5:00 p.m.

and February 21, 1991 from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

We recommend that participation include senior nuclear executives and engineering-managers of both corporate and site organizations.

The symposium is in the planning stage and preliminary topics for discussion have been selected:

elements of a good engineering organization, licensees'ctions with degraded conditions including operability/reportability determina-

S As the plans for the symposium are further finalized, interested individuals will be selected to participate as speakers or facilitators and a final agenda will be issued.

Please advise of your interest in participating and your intent to attend, the approximate number of your representatives who will attend, and your preliminary requirements for overnight hotel accommodations.
