TO GENERIC LETTER 90-03 "VENDOR INTERFACE FOR SAFETY-RELATED COMPONENTS"- SUSQUEHANNA STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 (TAC NOS. 76302 AND 76303)

On March 20, 1990, the NRC issued Generic Letter (GL) 90-03, "Relaxation of Staff position in GL 83-28, Item 2.2, Part 2 'Vendor Interface for Safety-Related Components'".

The GL 90-03 requested that all licensees and applicants review their present vendor interface programs and modify them as necessary using the guidance provided in GL 90-03.

By letter dated September 27, 1990, you responded to GL 90-03 and indicated that the existing programs in conjunction with the upgrade for vendor interface on key safety-related components, will meet the guidance provided in GL 90-03.

The staff has reviewed your response and finds that the existing programs and proposed upgrades are acceptable.

Accordingly, TAC NOS.

76302 and 76303 are being closed.
