SUBJECT:

ANALYSIS OF THERMAL HYDRAULIC STABILITY DAT FOR CYCLE 3 OPERATION, SUS(UEHANNA STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNIT 2 (TAC N0..72708)

Enclosed for your information is a report summarizing the results of the review of Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Unit 2 stability measurements during Cycle 3 operation.

The evaluation was performed by our consultant, Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).

Based on the review of the results of ORNL's evaluation, we find that the'Unit 2 was fairly stable in spite of the fact that the reactor core contains ANF 9 x 9 fuel assemblies.

This completes our action on TAC No. 72708.

Sincerely,
