On February 5, 1988, NRC Bulletin 88-01 was issued requesting licensees to provide letters of confirmation to the NRC of completion of inspections on Westinghouse DS series circuit breakers.

Addressees who do not have DS series circuit breakers in Class 1E service were requested to provide a statement to that effect.

Your response to NRC Bulletin 88-01, dated February 24, 1988 confirmed that the Westinghouse circuit breakers covered by the Bulletin 88-01 are not used for Class lE service at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2.

Accordingly, your response to Bulletin 88-01 is determined to be satisfactory, and no further action, is needed.
