PROPOSED AMENDMENT 114/SINGLE LOOP OPERATION (TAC NO. 69116)
RE:
SUSQUEHANNA STEAM ELECTRIC STATION (SSES),
UNIT 1 We have examined your August 10, 1988 request for Technical Specification changes to support the SSES Unit 1 extended operation in single recirculation loop operating (SLO) mode for Cycle 4 operation.
Based on the current NRC prioritization scheme, this action can not be completed until July, 1989.
In view of the fact that the Cycle 4 operations will end in March, 1989, the completion of the subject action will serve no useful function.
We are therefore returning the subject request without any review action.
Please resubmit your SLO request for Cycle 5 operations.
