SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT FOR SUSQUEHANNA STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2, GENERIC LETTER 83-28, ITEM 1.2, POST-TRIP REVIEll-DATA AND INFORMATION CAPABILITY 1
By letters dated November 4, 1983 and March 1, 1984, your staff responded to Generic Letter 83-28 with regard to required actions based on generic impli-cations of the Salem ATWS events.
The enclosed Safety Evaluation Report (SER) has been based upon Technical Evaluation Report (TER) input from the staff's contractor, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and the staff's review of this input.
The draft TER was transmitted to you and discussed with your staff on May 24, 1985.
Based on the staff's review, and discussions with your staff, we conclude that the post-trip review data and information capabilities for the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station Units 1 and 2 are acceptable.
The purpose of this
letter is to transmit the staff SER to the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company.
