conducted
by Mr.
R. L. Nimitz of
this office on
June
11-13,
1986 at
Susquehanna
Steam Electric Station.
The
inspection findings were discussed
with Mr. T. Crimmins.
Areas
reviewed
this
inspection
included:
action
on
previous
findings;
the
ALARA Program;
the
external
and
internal
exposure
control
programs;
and
planning
and preparation for the Unit 2 Refueling Outage.
Within the scope of this inspection,
no violations were observed.
However,
items for improvement
were identified in your
ALARA Program.
These
items are discussed
in the enclosed
inspection report and include such matters
as
the
need
for
improvement
in
your
program
to
establish
and
implement
acceptable
exposure
goals.
Your staff
has
taken
action
to
address
these
matters.
