This routine inspection of the Susquehanna
Steam Electric Station
covered plant
operations,
Unit 2
ESF system walkdown, Unit 2 startup testing,
a review of
1983
ECCS maintenance
actions,
open items,
and licensee
events.
The inspection
focused
on the operability of the Unit 2 core
spray
system
based
on
a system
walkdown and review of survei llances.
Only minor discrepancies
were found during
this review.
No violations were identified in this inspection.
This letter also acknowledges
your August 17,
1984 reply to the Notice of Viola-
tion forwarded
by
NRC Region I letter dated July 19,
1984.
The corrective
actions described
in your reply will be evaluated
during routine
NRC Inspection.
This transmittal will be
made public unless
you notify this office, within 10
days of the date:of this letter, that you intend to request withholding of
information under
10 CFR 2.790(b)( 1).
