In accordance with present NRC procedures regarding Board Notification, the enclosed information is being provided for your information as constituting new information relevant and material to safety issues.

This information is plant specific and does not have applicability to other dockets.

Allegations have been received concerning the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station with respect to ignoring stress intensification factors and the reconciliation of nozzle loads as part of the piping analysis procedures and with respect to maintenance of welding qualifications and associated recor ds.

Review of these allegations are being conducted under the Regional Admihistrator, Region I.

As additional informa'tion becomes available, follow-up notification will be provided.
