ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT FOR NINE NILE POINT NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT 2 (TAC NO. H96109)
Dear Hr. Sylvia:
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 7B to Facility Operating License No. NPF-69 for the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, Unit 2.
The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications (TSs) in response to your application transmitted by letter dated July 12, 1996.
The amendment revises TS Section 6.2.2.i regarding the administrative controls for the normal working hours of unit staff who perform safety-related functions.
The change allows the establishment of unit staff work schedules that average 40 hours4.62963e-4 days <br />0.0111 hours <br />6.613757e-5 weeks <br />1.522e-5 months <br /> per week using shifts as long as 12 hours1.388889e-4 days <br />0.00333 hours <br />1.984127e-5 weeks <br />4.566e-6 months <br />.
A copy of the related Safety Evaluation is enclosed.
A Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's next regular biweekly Federal Receister notice.
