RESPONSE TO ALLEGED DISCRIMINATION
Dear Mr. Sylvia:
This letter responds to your July 16, 1996, letter to Mr. Thomas T. Martin, immediate past Regional Administrator, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Region I, related to your request to withhold attachments to your October 16, 1996, Response to Alleged Discrimination - EA No.95-147, under 10 CFR 2.790.
Your July 16, 1996, letter indicates that "[i]nasmuch as the individual in question left Niagara Mohawk several years ago, NRC staff is now the more appropriate party to evaluate what, if any, information regarding the individual should be publicly released.
Accordingly, Niagara Mohawk withdraws its request for withholding from public disclosure the information contained in the attachments to its letter of October 16, 1996."
We have decided that the NRC revised redacted version of the attachments that we previously provided. to you in our June 17, 1996, letter will be released publicly and placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
