Nine Nile Point Nuclear Station Unit 2 Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation BWR OR PDI-1 D. Brinkman Complete H90677 In reference letter dated October 21, 1994, Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation requested that facility operating license No.
NPF-69 be amended to modify Nine Nile Point Unit 2 Section 4.8, "AC Sources."
The proposed Technical Specification (TS) change represents a revision to Surveillance Requirement 4.8. 1. 1.2.e.8 to add a footnote regarding the 24 hour2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> functional test of the emergency diesel generators (EDG).
The change will permit functional testing of the EDG to be performed during power operation.
The Electrical Engineering Branch has reviewed the proposed changes and recommends that TS revisions as noted in the enclosed safety evaluation (Attachment 1) be granted.
This action closes TAC NO. H90677.
