Dear Mr. Sylvia:
During the week of December
5,
1994, the
NRC administered initial examinations
to nine employees of your company
who had applied for licenses to operate the
Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, Unit l.
At the conclusion of the
examinations,
the preliminary findings were discussed
with those
members of
your staff identified in the enclosed report.
All of the nine applicants
passed
the initial examinations
and were
subsequently
issued licenses.
The applicants
demonstrated
very good
performance during all parts of the examination with few generic
weaknesses
identified.
In accordance
with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations,
a copy of
this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
Room.
