Letter dated June 30, 1993, from Mr. C. D. Terry to the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission transmitting Revision 11 to the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Unit 1 Final Safety Analysis Report (Updated), The Annual 10 CFR 50.59 Safety Evaluation Summary Report, and a Revision to the Quality Assurance Program Description We received your 10 CFR 50.71(e) submittal, referenced above, transmitting an incorporation of the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation Quality Assurance Topical Report (NMPC-QATR-1) into Revision 11 of the Unit 1 Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR). Additionally, this revision of the UFSAR combines the Fire Protection Quality Assurance Program (FPQAP) for Nine Mile Point with the NMPC-QATR-1. This submittal also provides the reporting of changes to the Nine Mile Point Quality Assurance Program (QAP) as required by 10 CFR 50.54(a).
An initial review of this QAP change submittal has begun; however, based on our current review schedule, we anticipate that it willrequire more than 60 days to complete our review.
