TO FUEL HANDLING(LSRO) AND RETAKE REQUALIFICATION
EXAMINATIONS(EXAMINATIONREPORT 50-410/93-09 (OL))
During the week of May 10, 1993, the NRC conducted LSRO initial examinations and retake
requalification examinations at the Nine Mile Point Unit 2.
The examinations were
conducted in accordance with NUREG-1021, "Operator Licensing Examiner Standards,"
Revision 7.
Examinations of applicants and licensed operators are important to safety.
The enclosed report also reviewed your responses
to one unresolved item from a previous
inspection.
Your response
to the unresolved item was found to be acceptable.
On May 13, 1993, at the conclusion of the examination, the findings related to the
examinations were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed
report.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations,
a copy of this letter and
the enclosures willbe placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
