Amendment 20 to Application to Operating License Nine Mile Point Unit 2 Docket No. 50-410 In accordance with 10CFR50.30 (c)(l), 10CFR51.24 and your March 29, 1983 letter, enclosed are three originals and 60 copies of Amendment 20 to the Final Safety Analysis Report.

These changes incorporate certain responses into the text of the Final Safety Analysis Report, as appropriate.

Included with Amendment 20 are 6 copies of the Nine Mile Point Unit 2 emergency plan.

In accordance with your generic letter 81-27, the enclosed copies of the emergency plan have been marked and bracketed to indicate information exempt from public disclosure as privacy information and proprietary information exempt under the provisions of 10CFR2.790(d)(l).

A listing of those pages so identified is included as enclosure l.

Attached is a list of the pages of the FSAR that are affected by Amendment 20.

This list will be submitted with all future amendments and will be referred to as Summary of Incorporated Changes.

(Enclosure 2).

Each set of the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station - Unit 2 Final Safety Analysis Report should include a volume entitled Environmental gualification Document.

This document is no longer considered to be a part of the Safety Analysis Report.

A recent update was sent to a limited distribution, as will be any future updates.
