Emergency Preparedness Inspection 50-222/92-10 and 50-410/92-12 Response The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge your July 2, 1992 letter concerning your schedule for completion of the three remaining Emergency Response Facility Appraisal items.
In addition, your letter adressed other concerns noted in the subject report.
We find your proposed schedule for completion for these items to be acceptable'.
Also, we are requesting additional information concerning Unresolved Item 50-220/88-25-08 and 50-410/88-24-08.
Specifically, within 30 days of receipt of this letter, please provide to this office a proposed schedule for corrective actions in the event that a protection factor of five is not attainable at any location within the Emergency Operations Facility.
We recognize that the actions you are taking to ensure that all members of your Emergency
Response
Organization carry their Green Cards represent a committment to provide a stronger assurance of timely respose to emergencies.
However, closure of this item and of the open item'concerning accountability must await confirmatory NRC inspection.
Thank you for your attention to these matters.
