This letter and enclosures summarizes the February 7, 1992 management

meeting held at

your request between Mr. J. W. Wilczek and other members of your staff and members of

the NRC Region I staff in.King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

The purpose of the meeting was

. to discuss

changes

made at the Nine Mile Point site as a result of weaknesses

in your

emergency response actions identified on August 13, 1991 during your response to the loss

of control room indications and reactor trip, and declaration of a Site Area -Emergency.

Enclosed are specific items discussed during the meeting along with a copy of your agenda.

We believe the meeting was beneficial to our understanding of your proposed resolutions

to concerns identified in NRC Combined Inspection Report Nos. 50-220/91-19 and

50-410/91-19.

We expect to followup on these areas during the next scheduled inspection.
