Complete Enclosed is the Electrical Instrumentation Control Systems Branch's (EICSB) safety evaluation of proposed changes to the Technical Specifications for Nine Mile Point Unit 1 as requested by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation letter dated January 15, 1986.
Based on this review, the proposed changes are found acceptable.
Please note that there is an error on licensee's letter Attachment A Table 3.6.2a.
The title for Table 3.6.2a should be "INSTRUMENTATION THAT INITIATES SCRAM" rather than "INSTRUMENTATION THAT INITIATES OR ISOLATES EMERGENCY COOLING".
