Enclosed are ten copies of the NMP2 High Energy Line Break Evaluation Report (Effect on Nonsafety-Related Control Components),
Revision 2, dated February 1986.
This revision supersedes Revision 1, dated December ll, 1985 submitted on January 2, 1986.
In the December 11, 1985 report, it was stated that a high energy line break in the turbine building had been identified that could result in a transient that is not covered under the existing Chapter 15 of the Final Safety Analysis Report.
The evaluation of that event has been completed
- and, as reported on page 3-12 of Revision 2, it shows that the event is bounded by Chapter 15 of the Final Safety Analysis Report.
We believe this closes Safety Evaluation Report Confirmatory Issue No. 27.
