Issuance of Safety Evaluation Report - Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Unit 2 Enclosed for review by the Committee are eight (8) copies of the Safety Evaluation Report (SER) prepared by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation in the matter of the application filed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation for a license to operate the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Unit 2 as requested by your staff.
Sixteen (16) copies will be provided to the Committee when published.
The issues that have not yet been resolved with the applicant are identified in Section 1.8 of the SER.
We will require the resolution of all open and confirmatory items prior to a decision on issuance of an operating license.
