Dear Mr. Vassallo:
Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation hereby transmits three (3) originals and nineteen (19) copies of an application for amendment to Nine Mile Point Unit 1's Operating License, DPR-63.
Also enclosed are forty (40) copies of the proposed change to the Technical Specifications in Appendix A of the above mentioned license.
Pursuant to 10CFR170.12, a one hundred and fiftydollar
($150.00) check for the application fee is enclosed.
This Technical Specification Amendment Application requests changes to reflect recent modifications to our Control Room Air Treatment System.
Additionally, this application incorporates changes to industry standards for designing and testing nuclear power air treatment systems.
Pursuant to 10CFR50.91(b)(l),
we have provided a copy of this license amendment application and the associated analysis regarding no significant hazards considerations to the appropriate state representative.
