On May 23, 1980, the NRC issued a Memoranda.and Order tha defines Commission's requirements with respect to the environmental qualification of electrical equipment at nuclear power plants.
In connection with these new requirenents, the NRC will hold regional meetings to explain in more detail each of the require-ments.
