Davis-Besse Unit 1 Updated Final Safety Analysis Report 17.0-1 UFSAR Rev 30 10/2014 SECTION 17 17.0 QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM FOR STATION OPERATION FSAR Section 17.1 described the Quality Assurance Program that was implemented during the design and construction period at the Davis-Besse Plant. This section was deleted from the first update of the Davis-Besse Updated Safety Analysis Report (USAR).

Section 17.2 contained a description of the Toledo Edison Nuclear Quality Assurance Program which had been established by the Toledo Edison Company to provide assurance that the operation of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1 conformed with applicable regulatory requirements, with the design bases specified in the license application, and with Toledo Edisons policy statement. This section was deleted and replaced by the FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) Quality Assurance Program Manual.

The FENOC Quality Assurance Program Manual (QAPM) is incorporated by reference into the Davis-Besse Updated Safety Analysis Report (USAR). The FENOC QAPM contains a description of the quality assurance program which has been established by the FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company to provide assurance that the operation of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station conforms with applicable regulatory requirements and with the design bases specified in the operating license.

17.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE DURING THE OPERATIONS PHASE 17.2.0 DELETED. Refer to the FENOC QAPM The remaining section of USAR Section 17.2 (pages 17.2-3 through 17.2-74 and Figures 17.2-1 and 17.2-2) has been deleted.
