'Hew York 13202 Centlemens The purpose of this letter is to establish a schedule for our review of your application notarized June 27, 1972, for conversion of Provisional Operating License No. DPR-17 to a full-term operating license for your Nine Mle Point Nuclear Station Unit 1 located in the Town of Scriba, Oswego County, New York.
Ue have evaluated our workload, and based on this evaluation ve have targeted
.the issuance of our Safety Evaluation Report, for June 28, 1974.
Tfie issuance of our Final Environmental Statement is targeted for December 7, 1973.
A, summary of the more lmportant milestones involved in the safety
'valuation are enclosed for your information and review.
At the present time, ve do not have intervention indicatedg therefore, our schedule does not include hearing dates. It should be realized that the indicated dates are target adlestones vhich may require some changes as the review process proceeds.
For example, if a public hearing on the matter of issuance of a full-term operating 1icense becomes probable, the schedule vill.be revLsed to accommodate it.
Me villadvise you by letter of any significant changes to the schedule.
