Lear ACRS (16) extra cps Ne have completed a review of the General Electric Company proprietary topical roport NEDE-10958, "General Electric BWR Thermal Analysis Basis (GBTAB):
Date, Correlation and Design Application" (NEDO-XQ958, is the non-proprietary version).
Enclosed is our evaluation of th6 report.
As a result of our review, we have concluded that the above report provides an acceptable boiling transition correlation and an accept-able method of thermal analysis of the GE Bt'R 8x8 and 7x7 fuel assemblies.
In this regard, the revised GETAB-based Technical Specifications
- and, supporting analyses for tho Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Unit 1 should bo submitted no later than the submittal date of your ECCS re-evaluation required by the Order transmitted to you on December 27, 1974.
