The immediate result is that the senior responsibility for negotiating with your Directorate of Licensing is transferred from Mr. Philip D.
Raymond to Mr. Gerald K. Rhode who, effective February 1, 1975, becomes Vice President-Engineering.
In addition, the retirement of Mr. P. A. Burt, who has been General Superintendent-Nuclear Generation, results in organizational changes at the Nine Mile Point-James A. FitzPatrick Site.
Mr. Thomas E. Lempges is assuming the position of,General Superintendent-Nuclear Generation.
His former position as Plant Superintendent for the James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant will be filled by Mr. Roland W. Smith.
These changes also become effective on February 1, 1975.
I am making sure that these organizational changes are carried out in a manner which will not impede our licensing efforts and which will ensure continued safe operation of the reactor units at'he Site.
