Dear Mr. Lear:

Your letter of April 17, 1975 requested information about suppression chamber loadings and relief valve discharge effects at Nine Mile Point Unit 1.

The submittals listed below were in response to the concerns expressed in your letter.

Pursuant to 10CFR50.54 (f), this additional information is being transmitted.

We have reviewed information recently submitted by General Electric and find that it is applicable to the Nine Mile Point Unit 1

containment.

General Electric submitted this information to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in a letter dated July 31, 1975 from Mr. I. F. Stuart to Mr. A. Giambusso.

The report summarizes their Mark I containment short and long term programs.

This 'matter has been'eviewed by the Nine Mile Point-James A. FitzPatrick Site Operations Review Committee and the Safety Review and Audit Board which concur in this conclusion.
