As one of the parties in the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation proceeding involving an application for a permit to construct the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, Unit 2, you have been receiving copies of correspondence to the applicant originated by the NRC staff -Mrs our review of the application.

Documents filed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation and correspondence from us regarding the construction and/or operation of the facility will continue to be made available in the NRC and local public document rooms. In addition, we will issue public announcements should any significant gvents occur with respect to the facility.
