- Lamb, Leiby & MacRae submitted Amendment No.
11 to the Preliminary Safety Analysis of your application for Nine Mile Point Unit 2.
It was requested thai a portion of the amendment, relating to the details of the location and concentration of gadolinia anticipated for thk initial core of Unit 2, be withheld from public disclosure.
Release of the information to the public would give the General Electric Comp'any's fuel design to com-
- petitors, and thus handicap General Electric's competitive position in fuel technology.
Me have determined that disclosure of the above-mentioned infor-mation is not required in the public interest nor by the Atomic Energy Commission regulation 10 CFR Par t 9.
Accordingly, we are withholding,the subject information from public inspection pursuant to Section 2.799(b) of >10 CFR Part 2.
ltithholding of this information from public inspection shall not, however, affect the right of persons properly and directly concerned to inspect this document.
