Dear Mr. Carlson:
Me have received your letter of October 25, 1977 which discusses our October 5, 1977 notificaton submitted under Section 50.55(e)(l) of the Commission's Regulations.
Me are continuing to evaluate the criteria for stress relief design.
Construction progress in the safety related tunnel wall vicinity has been rescheduled to allow inspection and evaluation of the structures.
The review of the criteria will require several months to complete.
Therefore, a report describing any corrective actions and an analysis of the implications of this condition will be provided in February, 1978.
