Dear Mr. Lear:
Your letter dated September l4 requested additional information regarding Niagara Mohawk's "Plant Unique Analysis Repozt for Torus Support System and Attached Piping for Nine Mile Point Nuclear Power Station."
'A re-analysis has been performed using revised vent header and vent pipe, impact loads.
These have been determined from the impulse/velocity relation-'hip derived from the Mark IIIPressure Suppression Test Facility (PSTF) data.
The results of this re-analysis are within the guidelines of the short term program for the torus support structure.
Revisions to Niagara Mohawk's plant unique report'ill be provided by October l2, l976.
In addition, the effect of changes in water level and verification of input parameters as discussed in General Electric's report "Hark I'ontainment Evaluation Shozt Term Program - Final Report Addendum 2" (June, l976) are being conducted.
The results of this evaluation will be available by October l2, l976.
