'his refers to the telephone conversation between Mr. R. R. Schneider, Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation and Mr. J. P. O'Reilly, Director, Region I on March 23, 1976 regarding cracks in the Reactor Water Cleanup System piping found on March 19. and 22, 1976 '
With regard to the matters discussed, w'e understand that you have under-taken or will undertake-the,-following actions prior to returning to power:
1.
Develop 'a list of cold worked stainless steel pipe elbows two (2)

inches and larger in systems which may be subjected to reactor primary coolant-pressure-and.

lowing cold working.

'Perform e 100X nondeetructive velum tric exeminetion of the pipe elbows'defined in paragra'ph 1 above.
