Ne have completed our pxoliminary review of your application for license amendment dated February 4, 1976.
In order for us to complete our review we require the following additional information:
a.
In Section II of Attachment "C" to your application, you have indicated that largo calibration sourcos in excess of 100 millicuries aro located in shielded wells in the Instrumont Calibration Room.
Provide a description of the administrative and/or physical controls which limit access to the shielded wells.
s 4b.. In goction II.B.2 of Attachment "C", you have indicate31 that a remote source handling device will be used to position the Co source in its storago well for calibration of portable beta-gamma dose rato instruments.
Provide a description of the technique, device, or procedure which you will use to assure that, after use, the Co60 source will be returned to a position in the well that will result in the minimum radiation exposure to personnel at the well surface.
