Dear Mr. Gossick:
Recently some changes in Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation management have been made to provide for more efficient operation.
The immediate result is that the senior responsibility for negotiating with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation for Nine Mile Point Unit 1 is transferred from Mr. Gerald K.
Rhode to Mr. Donald PE Disc who, effective October 15;
- 1977, became Vice President-Engineering.
All correspondence from the Office of Inspection and Enforcement should continue to be directed to Mr.
R.,R. 'Schneider, Vice President-Electric Production.
These organizational changes will be carried out in a manner which will not impede our licensing efforts and which will ensure continued safe operation of Nine Mile Point Unit 1.
