ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PLANNED REALLOCATION OF FUNDS BETWEEN NUCLEAR DECOMMISSIONING TRUST FUNDS (CAC NOS.

Dear Mr. Peters:
By letters dated November 23 and December 14, 2016 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession Nos. ML16336A640 and ML16351A202), Comanche Peak Power Company LLC, the owner and licensee of Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2, informed the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of a planned reallocation of funds between the Nuclear Decommissioning Trusts (NOT) from Unit 2 to Unit 1 to correct an erroneous contribution of funds to the Unit 2 NOT.
The NRC staff acknowledges receipt of your letters, that you discovered the error in November 2016 and promptly notified the NRC, and that you intend to reallocate funds between the NDTs before December 31, 2016. The NRC staff has no objection to the proposed reallocation.
