Dear Mr. Eliason:
The purpose of this letter is to forward for your information and response as you deem appropriate to the transcript of the May 28, 1997 meeting (Enclosure
- 1) the NRC held with the public at the Salem Community College to describe NRC activities relative to the Salem 2 restart process and to receive public comments.
Written statements provided by three participants are also enclosed.
While the staff responded to most of the issues raised by the public at the meeting as indicated in the transcript, the staff responses to a couple of issues which were not fully addressed are enclosed (Enclosure 2).
