NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-275/98-04; 50-323/98-04
Dear Mr. Rueger:
From January 12-30, 1998, an NRC inspection of the implementation of your corrective action
program was conducted at your Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, reactor
facilities. Following the exit meeting, the results of further review of information and material
presented
on the last day of this inspection were discussed
in a supplemental telephone exit, on
February 19, 1998, with Mr. T. Grebel and other members of your staff. The enclosed report
presents the scope and results of that inspection.
The inspection determined that you had a good corrective action program.
Conditions that could
degrade the quality of plant operations were being effectively identified, resolved, and corrected.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
Should you have any questions concerning this inspection, we will be pleased to discuss them
with you.
