1996 EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS EXERCISE OBJECTIVES AND SCENARIO
Dear Mr. Rueger:
We have reviewed your letter dated July 9, 1996, and the enclosed objectives and scenario for the Diablo Canyon Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, 1996 radiological emergency preparedness exercise scheduled for October 9, 1996.
Based on our review, we determined that the exercise objectives and scenario are appropriate to meet emergency plan requirements.
Minor questions were resolved during a September 6, 1996, telephone discussion with Mr. Martin Hug and other members of your staff.
We contacted the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region IX, during our review.
Mr. Richard Echavarria stated that FEMA's comments would be submitted shortly, under separate cover.
