Dear Hs. Culver:
Our licensing assistant, Hs. Eileen Peyton, periodically reviews the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant service list with the objective to help reduce the amount of mail the Federal government has to generate.
The Commission has made provisions for members of the public to obtain various forms of information.
The "Citizen's Guide to U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission" (NUREG/BR-0010, Rev. 2), gives the needed information.
Of special note are the local public document rooms (LPDRs) located near each nuclear plant, which are the Commission's primary vehicle for disseminating documents to the public.
The LPDR for Diablo Canyon is California Polytechnic State University, Robert E. Kennedy Library, Government Documents and Maps Department, San Luis Obispo, California 93407.
You can obtain documents at the LPDR or by contacting our LPDR staff at 1-800-638-8081.
