NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-275/99-13; 50-323/99-13
Dear Mr. Rueger:
This refers to the inspection conducted on August 2-6, 1999, at the Diablo Canyon Nuclear
Power Plant, Units 1 and 2 facilities. The purpose of the inspection was to review the solid
radioactive waste management and radioactive materials transportation programs.
The
enclosed report presents the results of this inspection.
We concluded that the programs reviewed were implemented correctly.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
