Dear Mr. Rueger:
This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated October 2, 1998, which transmitted changes to the Diablo Canyon Power Plant Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures, EP G-1, Emergency Classification and Emergency Plan Activation, Revision 28, under the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E, Section V.
We did not identify any violations of 10 CFR 50.54(q) during our review. Implementation of these changes willbe subject to inspection to confirm that they have not decreased the effectiveness of your emergency plan.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter willbe placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
