TRANSMITTAL OF REPORT DESCRIBING INSPECTION OF POWER GENERATOR SUPPLIED TO DIABLO CANYON BY NEI PEEBLES - ELECTRIC PRODUCTS, INC.
On August 5 through 9, 1991, the NRC staff conducted an inspection of the safety-related power generator supplied to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PGEE) by NEI Peebles
- Electric Products, Inc. of Cleveland Ohio.
The NRC report for this inspection is enclosed for your information and use.
The issues raised by the inspection should be reviewed by PGKE because they potentially impact the qualification of the 6th emergency diesel generator (EDG) being installed at Diablo Canyon.
We request that you be prepared to discuss these issues at the upcoming meeting on the 6th EDG that is currently scheduled for February 20, 1992. If you have any questions regarding the enclosed report, please contact me.
