L. Chandler M. Mendonca H. McGurren In our telephone discussion on November 10, 1986 regarding the Subject you raised a number of issues and requested clarification on my letter of October 24, 1986 to you.
In order to avoid misunderstanding or misinterpretation on my part on any of the issues we discussed, I request that you submit your comments by letter.
In a telephone discussion on October 29, 1986 you stated that you had not requested confidentiality regarding the Subject, and that you did not object to placing my letter of October 24, 1986 into the Local Public Document Room (LPDR).
Accordingly, we have made the letter available under Accession No.
86 10 30 03 41.
Likewise, we will place in the LPDR this letter and all future correspondence on the Subject.
At this time we are evaluating your allegation as identified in the enclosure to my earlier letter.
We do not consider your concern of such safety significance that would preclude the continued operation of Diablo Canyon Units 1 and 2.
