50-275/323 Since 1971, the San Luis Obispo County Free Library has served as the f<RC's LPDR, but due to budget reductions, County Library Officials recently notified us that they no longer have the space or personnel to adequately house and maintain the; collection.

In this regard, your willingness to ser ve as the Diablo Canyon Local Public Document Room is greatly appreciated and we look forward to working with you and your staff to meet the information needs of the public.

As Frank Logan mentioned in his recent visit to Cal Poly, please feel free to contact us'at any time should you have questions concerning the Diablo Canyon document collection or the NRC's LPDR program.
