AMENDMENT 85 INSTRUCTION SHEET (File this instruction sheet in the front of Volume 1 as a record change.)
The following instructions and check list are provided as a guide for the insertion of new pages for Amendment 85 in the FSAR for Units 1 and 2 Diablo Canyon Site.
The new pages are marked "Amendment 85 and (August 1980)" and contain both amended and supplementary material.
This material is indicated by a vertical bar with the figure "85" inscribed in the adjacent margin of, the page.
Where such marks appear adjacent to a blank portion of a page, a
deletion is indicated.
Where pages have been changed only to reposition material, with no change in content, only the amendment number and the date are given.
It is especially important to note that Amendment 85 includes extensive revisions of both Chapter 13 Conduct of Operations and Chapter 17 Quality Assurance.
Vertical chan e bars on the "insertion" a es of these two Cha ters are intentionall omitted.
The entire text for both, Chapters and the Appendix containing resumes (13.1-A) are to be removed and inserted with the new material.
Since the FSAR is printed on both sides of sheets of loose-leaf
- paper, the front or back page of an Amendment 85 sheet may be reprinted with nn change.
Such 'pages are not identified with amendment number and date.
For a brief description of the changes made by Amendment 85, see the SENARY OF AMENDMENT 85 which precedes the "REMOVAL-INSERTION" INSTRUCTIONS.
