IN RESPONSE REFER TO FOIA-79-464 This is in regard to your letter dated October 26, 1979, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of records pertaining to a meeting held on October 19, 1979, concerning the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant at which meeting, the NRC's Chairman Joseph M. Hendrie, Donald Hassell, and Leonard Bickwit were present.
You also requested records of another meeting on October 19, 1979, pertaining to the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, when Commissioner Richard T.
Kennedy was present.
In response to your request, there is enclosed a copy of John Stephens'and-written notes of the R. T.
Kennedy meeting (1 page).
Copies are also being placed in the NRC Public Document
- Room, 1717 H Street, N.W.,
Washington, DC, and in the NRC Local Public Document Room located at the San Luis Obispo County Free Library, 888 Morrow Street, San Luis Obispo, Cali fornia.
We note, that, as a party to the Diablo Canyon proceedings, you were served on October 25th and 26th, 1979, with copies of the documents described in Appendix A which relate to the above described meetings.
