KCyr This. letter is in response to your petition of May 12, 1982, supplemented by your letter of May 23, 1982, which made a request for action under 10 C.F.R. 2.206 of the Commission's regulations.

You requested that the Commission issue an order to Pacific Gas 8 Electric Company to show cause why it should not be required to submit an amendment to its operating license applications for the Diablo Canyon facilities.

For the reasons stated in the enclosed "Director's Decision under 10 C.F.R. 2.206", your request has been denied.

A copy of this decision will be placed in the Commission's public docu'ment rooms at 1717 H Street, N.W., Hashington, D.C. 20555 and at the San Luis Obispo Free Library, 888 Marro Street, San Luis Obispo, California 93406.

A copy will also be filed with the Secretary for the Commission's review in accordance with 10 C.F.R. 2.206(c) of the Commission's regulations.

As provided in 10 C.F.R. 2.206(c), this decision will become the final action of the Commission after 25 days unless the Commission determines to review this decision within that time.
