2.206 Petition from Joint Intervenors Re: Diablo Canyon Enclosed is a petition dated May 12, 1982, filed by Joel Reynolds on behalf of the Joint Intervenors in the Diablo Canyon proceeding requesting issuance of an order to Pacific Gas 8 Electric Company (PGLE) to show cause why it should not be required to file amendments to its operating license applications to reflect the recent restructuring by PGIWE of the Diablo Canyon project organization and management.
Also enclosed is a follow-up letter from Mr. Reyolds dated May 25, 1982, asserting that a proposed amendment from PGIIE is inadequate.
Enclosed for your use are a draft acknowledgment letter and a draft Federal
~Re ister notice.
If these drafts are not changed, it is unnecessary to return them to this office for concurrence.
My office is preparing a draft response to the petition which will be sent to your office for review within the next two weeks.
Please ensure that all other correspondence related to this matter is referred to me for concurrence and that my staff is kept aware of developments affecting action on the petition.
